Nature Walks

Visitors are encouraged to walk the full-length of the park to experience the beautiful pastoral views and the pleasures of being at the water’s edge.  Whether strolling along the riverfront promenade, or walking along the paved paths that crisscross the park, visitors can observe the changing of the seasons, as native trees, shrubs and perennials provide a varied display. Observing the rain gardens’ array of native wild flowers, sedges and rushes allow us to see nature at work even in a densely populated urban center.
